i) Open the 'Fonts' folder as described below:
Windows 2000: Start > Settings > Control Panel > Fonts
Windows XP: Start > Settings > Control Panel > Appearances and Themes > Fonts
(on the left side of the window in See Also section)
Alternatively, choose the Classic View to view the Fonts folder.
ii) Copy the downloaded font file into the Fonts folder.
iii) Restart the Internet Explorer so that the newly installed font is loaded by
the browser.
iv) Now open the Guruji page:
http://www.guruji.com/ and check whether you are able to see the links in
any of the Indian languages supported by Guruji. If you are able to see the
fonts in a Indian language, then you can start entering a search word in the
chosen Indian language.
v) If you are not able to see the links in
a Indian language, then you need to click on a language link of your choice. The
list of Indian languages supported is displayed below the search box in the
Guruji main page.
NOTE: For the Guruji page, the language option you had
chosen is stored by the browser. The subsequent visits to Guruji main page will
take you directly to the language page chosen in your previous visit to Guruji
page. If you are not able to resolve the font display
problem even after following the above steps, then write to us at:
feedback@guruji.com with
the description of the problem. Appendix:
The following Indian language fonts are installed by default in Windows
XP. Normally, the Indian Languages fonts are installed during the
installation of the WindowsXP operating system. If these fonts are already
present in the system, then there is no need to
download the additional fonts as described in the above steps.
